Barry Kruse is an executive in the professional training and development field working for a global asset management firm. He has worked in adult education and related fields for thirty years. He has traveled to forty-eight states and more than forty-five countries, working in many industries: including finance, publishing, technology, manufacturing, aerospace, consumer goods, communications, and energy.

He is also a recognized class V whitewater guide; part-time now, but still active and passionate. Barry's run more than sixty-five rivers around the world and was an early pioneer on extreme raft descents in California at the dawn of the “self-bailing” era.

Barry is also executive director for Junior Guides Raft Camp, a non-profit, outdoor leadership program for kids based in Coloma, California.

Barry is still learning to be a better husband, father, guide and business leader.
